Author Guidlines
1. Focus and Scope
Jurnal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (Jewanira) accepts research articles, literature reviews, and conceptual studies related to mathematics education, including:
a. Mathematics instruction
b. Mathematics curriculum
c. Development of mathematics instructional media
d. Development of mathematics teaching materials
e. Technology in mathematics instruction
f. Assessment and evaluation of mathematics instruction
g. Ethnomathematics
h. Mathematical literacy and numeracy
i. Mathematical thinking skills
j. Mathematics teacher education
k. Classroom action research (PTK) in mathematics
l. Research and Development (R&D) in mathematics education
m. STEM in mathematics education
Articles must be original works that have not been previously published and are not currently under consideration by another journal.
2. General Requirements for Manuscripts
a. Manuscripts must be written in proper and correct Indonesian or English.
b. Manuscripts must be the result of research or scientific studies relevant to the journal’s scope.
c. Articles must be between 4,000 and 8,000 words in length (including tables, figures, and references).
d. Manuscripts must be typed using Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx).
e. Articles must follow the Jewanira template available on the journal’s website.
f. The similarity index must not exceed 20% based on the results of a Turnitin check or similar software.
g. Authors must ensure that all data and quotations used are properly cited.
3. Formatting Guidelines
a. Paper size: A4
b. Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
c. Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt
d. Line spacing: 1
e. Justified text
f. Page numbers do not need to be included in the manuscript
4. Article Structure
a. Title
1) Concise, clear, and informative.
2) Maximum of 15 words.
3) Describes the substance of the research.
- Author Information
1) Full name without academic titles.
2) Institutional affiliation.
3) Email address of the corresponding author.
4) ORCID (if available). - Abstract
1) Written in Indonesian and English.
2) 150–250 words in length.
3) Includes the research objectives, methods, main results, and conclusions.
4) Does not include citations. - Keywords
1) Consists of 3–5 words or phrases.
2) Listed in alphabetical order. - Introduction
1) Background of the problem.
2) Current literature review.
3) Research gap.
4) Novelty of the research.
5) Research objectives. - Methods
1) Type of research.
2) Research subjects/participants.
3) Research instruments.
4) Data collection techniques.
5) Data analysis techniques. - Results and Discussion
1) Present the research results systematically.
2) Include tables, graphs, or figures as needed.
3) The discussion must relate the results to theory and previous research. - Conclusion
1) Address the research objectives.
2) Explain the research’s contribution.
3) May include suggestions for future research.
4) Acknowledgments (Optional)

5. Tables and Figures
a. Tables
1) Numbered sequentially.
2) The table title is placed above the table.

b. Figures
1) Numbered sequentially.
2) Figure captions are placed below the figure.
3) Figure resolution must be clear and legible.
6. Citations and References
Jewanira uses the APA 7th Edition citation style.
Example of in-text citations:
a. Single author:
(Marbun, 2026)
b. Two authors:
(Marbun & Sahrul, 2026)
c. Three or more authors:
(Marbun et al., 2026)
Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
Reference Requirements
a. Minimum of 20 references.
b. At least 80% must be from scientific journal articles.
c. At least 70% of references must be from publications within the last 10 years.
d. Every cited reference must appear in the reference list and vice versa.
7. Publication Ethics
Authors must ensure the originality of the manuscript, refrain from plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification of data, disclose any conflicts of interest, ensure that all authors have approved the submitted manuscript, and be willing to make revisions based on the review results.
8. Review Process
a. Initial screening by the editor.
b. Check for compliance with scope and template requirements.
c. Plagiarism check.
d. Double-blind peer review process by at least two reviewers.
e. Editor’s decision:
1) Accepted
2) Minor Revision
3) Major Revision
4) Rejected
9. Manuscript Submission
Manuscripts are submitted via the Jewanira Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform by following these steps:
a. Register as an Author.
b. Log in to the system.
c. Click “New Submission.”
d. Upload the manuscript according to the template.
e. Complete the article metadata
f. Confirm the manuscript submission.
10. Submission Checklist
Before submitting an article, ensure that:
ü The article aligns with Jewanira focus and scope.
ü The manuscript has not been previously published.
ü The manuscript uses the Jewanira template.
ü The abstract is available in both Indonesian and English.
ü References follow APA 7th Edition.
ü Similarity index ≤ 20%.
ü Author metadata has been fully completed.
ü All authors have approved the article submission.
